El arbitraje internacional es un mecanismo de resolución de disputas en Comercio Internacional que resulta muy útil por las ventajas que supone respecto a los tribunales de justicia. La agilidad, confidencialidad y flexibilidad de este mecanismo permite obtener una significativa ventaja.
La práctica del comercio internacional lleva aparejada una serie de conflictos, con proveedores, clientes y en general con empresas internacionales. Para canalizar estas disputas se puede incluir, por voluntad de las partes, cláusulas de sometimiento a arbitraje.
De esta manera si un proveedor no paga lo establecido, si una empresa no acomete su función, o si, en general, no se cumple lo establecido en el contrato, podemos acudir a este mecanismo.
